The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator to join our team and help uphold the highest standards in food safety and manufacturing excellence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate eager to build a career in food safety, quality systems, and hands‑on manufacturing operations. You’ll gain real-world experience across both quality documentation and on‑floor production support while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Our Compensation and Benefits show how much we value our team:
  • $25.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time hourly position, 40 hours a week Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm (+ regular opportunities for overtime)

Job Duties:

Quality & Food Safety
  • Support the administration and ongoing maintenance of our SQF Food Safety Program
  • Manage supplier documentation, including:
    • Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
    • Supplier approvals, specifications, and compliance documents
  • Send COAs and other quality documentation to customers as needed
  • Maintain organized and accurate QA records (digital and physical)
  • Assist with internal audits, SQF audits, and regulatory inspections
  • Support corrective actions, verification activities, and document updates
  • Contribute to food safety and quality training initiatives

Manufacturing & Operations Support
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
  • Help prepare and maintain production reports and daily manufacturing records
  • Support production documentation, lot tracking, and traceability
  • Conduct on-floor quality, sanitation, and GMP checks
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and operations teams
  • Take on additional duties within the manufacturing facility as needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field required
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of food safety principles (HACCP/SQF knowledge a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Comfort working in both office and manufacturing floor environments
  • Ability to clear a pre-employment background and DMV check

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Exposure to SQF, HACCP, or other GFSI programs
  • Internship or coursework related to food safety, quality, or manufacturing
  • Experience with inventory systems, production reporting, or ERP systems
